The Napa High Class of 82's 20th Reunion will be held at the scenic Chardonnay Country Club on August 10th, 2002. The evening begins at 5pm with a meet and greet time in a beautiful outdoor setting overlooking one of Napa's trademark vineyards. At 6:30 we will take a class photo and then head into the spectacular tent for a delicious dinner. A full buffet will be available featuring 3-5 different entrees, salad, side dishes and a dessert bar. All non-alcoholic beverages and coffee will be included as well as some beer and wine. Other alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase. After dinner, a short program will be presented that is designed to include everyone and be a lot of fun as we look back to our high school years and our many accomplishments in the years since. A dance floor and DJ will be available for those who wish to dance to their favorite 80's songs Also included in the price will be a printed and bound book containing bios and photos of your former classmates and a surprise keepsake item. We will have an on-site photographer ready to take your portraits and have them printed and ready to go before the evening is over. We are also planning a picnic for Sunday the 11th and are trying to put together a golf tournament for the Friday before. Our hope is to provide a memorable weekend full of events for our classmates and their guests.

The reunion committee has chosen to not use a reunion company in order to be able to present a higher end event for a lower price. In comparison, the Class of 81's reunion cost $80 for appetizers only (no meal) and a DJ at the Embassy Suites. The book of bios was an additional $20. Class photos were $18 and T-shirts were $18. We will be including the bio book in the price and, while we don't have firm prices on these other items yet, we honestly believe we can produce them for much less. This same event run through a reunion company would cost at least $125 a person. We're offering it for only $75 a person. We believe for the level of food and facility, especially in Napa Valley, this is an exceptional price. We sincerely hope it is not prohibitive for anyone and would hope that, since the event is several months away, everyone will be able to save enough to attend. Our class only has reunions every 10 years and it is the desire of the reunion committee to create a memorable, enjoyable evening for all of us as we come together for only the second time since our graduation.

We truly hope to see everyone there for what will undoubtedly be a truly wonderful evening.
